As quality analyst, I implemented QC efforts in TSS Warren production plant, including documenting quality standards for finished product. I conducted daily visual inspection of orders awaiting packaging and flagged any non-conforming defects as well as developed corrective action instructions. I was also part of the production plant’s safety committee supporting a culture of worker safety, resulting in reduction of hazards, most notably electrical and ergonomic hazards.- Implemented and managed quality standards of finished product resulting in 20% less daily defects.- Lead effort in redaction of quality standard documentation as well as coached staff on rework / Corrective Action Plans.- Facilitated discussions with supervisors and operating teams to address recurring quality defects, leading to improvement in material movement and work procedures.- Assessed supplier sites to ensure compliance to quality standards and corresponded with them to resolve QC issues.- Participated in a safety committee supporting continuous improvement resulting in equipment upgrades and retraining- Assisted in a variety of special projects including process improvement efforts for shipping and receiving, process workflow, and production floor layout optimization.

I also assisted in production of CNC files and CAD product design to ensure schedule attainment. In this role, I was responsible for a variety of clerical tasks including creating meeting material used for department-wide gatherings, generating monthly reports to be presented to executive management, and answering phone, faxing, scheduling meetings to name a few. Additionally, I provided assistance to all programs in the department when short-staffed or with special projects. During this project, I worked in a small group to design and develop a custom piece of equipment for Tenaris Coiled Tubes Downhole facility in Houston, TX. Throughout the design process I took part in brainstorming potential solutions, gathering input from Tenaris staff, and creating 3D models in order to improve worker safety as well as production flow. I also participated in routine project update presentations. The final product resulting from this project was 90%+ effective and underbudget as well as won 2nd prize in TAMU Engineering Showcase 2019 – Capstone Category.

My undergraduate research involves the investigation of laser processing effects on metal surfaces and their tribological properties. As research student, I was responsible for leading project advancement efforts and collaborated with campus staff as well as alumni in order to operate campus laboratory equipment. I also presented the research project during Texas A&M Student Research Week 2018 and POWDERMET2018 conferences

As intern I worked alongside the Preventative Maintenance Unit within a wooden window blinds manufacturing plant. Some of my core duties included managing incoming paperwork for completed maintenance work orders and scheduled maintenance work as well as enter data into company database, participating in weekly audits throughout plant production departments, and supported continuous improvement efforts by identifying and presenting to upper management any potential safety hazards.- Compiled and uploaded data for preventative maintenance team.- Supported supervisors and operating teams in documenting and resolving safety hazards; including a Kaizen event resulting in 15+ eliminated electrical and ergonomic hazards.
