About Luisa Gil Somoza

I am Luisa Gil Somoza and I live in Santiago de Compostela. I have been working and learning from social networks in a self-taught way for many years. Offering my services to other companies, creating digital projects on my own, innovating, undertaking and traveling.I was living in London for two years. However, due to the pandemic, and the constant lockdown in the UK, I decided to return to Spain.After a few months, thinking about where to direct my career path and professional goals, I decided it was time to professionalize myself in the digital, marketing and product fields; in which I had been working on my own for many years.In October, I started a Digital Marketing and Branding course at Fundación INCYDE. During this course, I was able to acquire high-quality, more technical knowledge that motivated me to develop my first official marketing project: setting up my own digital marketing agency.Furthermore, I started developing Atlantic Studio along November. I presented this project as a representative of my classmates and on behalf of the knowledge we had been acquiring. This project was presented to Cámara de Comercio de Santiago de Compostela, Fundación de la Ciudad de la Cultura, Fondo Social Europeo, Xunta de Galicia and Fundación INCYDE.Since December 2021, I have continued to develop Atlantic Studio: creating the logo, registering domains, creating and designing the website and creating content to publicize this project on social networks.At the same time, I have done a SEO Positioning Course with the Hedima Group and, currently, I am finishing the Digital Product Manager Course with the School of Industrial Organization (EOI). I am also studying to obtain the User Experience (UX) Design Professional Certificate from Google, on the Coursera platform.I am an ambitious, entrepreneur person, eager to continue developing my professional career and highly motivated to continue learning from professionals in the sector. Likewise, I would like to go one step further, and get an opportunity to work in a higher volume company. This could provide me with a lot of knowledge, a good introspective of the sector, and it would be an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate my potential and motivation.
