For the last 10+ amazing years, I have had the opportunity to work or freelance as a reporter, editor, radio show host and interviewer on a variety of mass media companies and special projects. Also, as a Paralegal in Chicago. Excellent communications skills, creativity, research pro, with the support of a master’s degree in Communications, and a bachelor’s degree in History, are a perfect mix for any journalist today. Hard working, passion for reporting, love for law and politics, allowed me to get into investigative journalism, and individual and group awards. Now, I have about five years of experience as a paralegal, or legal assistant. I have learned so much while working with multiple attorneys dealing with Employment Law, Administrative Reviews, EEOC Claims, Civil lawsuits, Immigration, basic Criminal Law (Cyberstalking, Orders of Protection), etc. I am fully bilingual (native Spanish and English), and available to work 24/7 as I do for other attorneys when there are strict deadlines. I began working with one attorney back in 2014, and in mid-2017 I started working as an independent Paralegal for over five attorneys, always caring about confidentiality and the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. I work online most of the time, but also from the attorneys’ offices when required. Right now, I am looking for a full or part time position to grow professionally and personally. Among other goals, I would like to become an attorney one day, and I am preparing for it through this job.
