The Association pour le Bien des Aveugles et malvoyants (ABA), founded in 1901, is the leading association in the canton of Geneva for visual impairment and blindness. Its mission is to improve the quality of life, integration and autonomy of people with visual disabilities residing in Geneva. The association advises those affected, their loved ones and carries out awareness-raising activities among the general public. ABA is also active through the Geneva medico-social and political networks and promotes the interests of blind and visually impaired people.

• Digitalizers is an innovative labor market measure, privately developed in collaboration with the State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO). We propose a 4-months immersive experience in an Edutech start-up type 5.0 organization. Through practical projects, qualitative trainings, experimentation, creativity and collective intelligence, participants enhance their human and digital skills, and hence develop an agile and resilient mindset to changing circumstances, within the digital transformation framework.

• Proposed, researched and wrote articles on the theme of business culture in Geneva.

• Performed and orchestrated day-to-day business operations in liaison with Legal, Finance, Accounts Payable and Compliance departments. • Managed all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, tracking and spending for an annual budget of $5M.• Coordinated and verified the adaption of research contracts with academia and private research bodies from their initial draft through to collection of signatures. • Facilitated and implemented event sponsoring and outreach activities across Europe.

• Planned and run events involving +90 participants, such as summer schools for PhD students and scientific workshops in Switzerland, the UK and Russia. • Organized senior management research tours in Europe. • Produced and presented internal communications, such as minutes, reports, statistics and metrics. • Applied project management processes across research projects with European universities and institutes.

• Delivered administrative and logistical support to C-level executive staff, including management of calendars in different time zones and complex travel arrangements.• Coordinated executive communication, including calls, emails and interfacing with suppliers and customers. • Provided administrative support during RFP and its selection process.

• Supported the daily activities and scheduling of the President and Vice-Presidents, including preparation for conferences, meetings and travels. • Developed and fostered partnerships with Geneva based permanent missions, international organizations and other NGOs. • Coordinated and co-organized the Institute’s events, such as Council and Executive Board meetings and Summer School.

• Assisted the Organising Committee with the planning and orchestration of the Institute’s annual conference held in Italy.
