About Luis Andreu Sober
I combined my studies with a job as programmer of PLCs and SCADAs where I started to become interested in industrial automation.In 2014 I moved to Madrid, where I continued my career.Six months after arriving at my current company, the need to create the Software Manager position appeared, and the CEO, given my dual training (Computer Engineering and Industrial Automation), bet on me.Since then I have been in charge of the development team, and in charge of design of the software products of the company to adapt to the internal needs and the requirements of customers.Our software is used in the monitoring of infrastructures and civil works in Spain, several countries in South America and Central America, North Africa, Saudi Arabia and Israel.During the last 20 months I’ve been in charge of the Tunneldata software development, managing a 8 people team, with a budget of 600K €. Tunneldata is a cutting-edge web application designed especially for managing monitoring data of underground works. Tunneldata is currently being used for the monitoring of geotechnical and geodetic data during the works of the red line metro in Tel Aviv.
