Luis Costa is a seasoned finance professional with over 8 years of experience in the Angolan Financial sector.He is currently the Head of Financial Markets and Head of Treasury Markets at Standard Chartered Bank Angola, where he leads the trading, sales and manages the bank's market risk and liquidity.Luis has a strong background in market development and strategy, having previously worked as the Deputy Director of the Department of Market Development and the Head of the Division of Market Development and Strategy at the Securities Exchange Commission of Angola (CMC). He also has extensive experience in asset management, having served as the Director General of BFA Gestão de Activos, the largest asset management firm in the country. Luis holds a Master's degree in International Business and Finance from Hult International Business School a Certificate in Public Finance from the Finance Ministry of the Republic of Angola. He also completed the Harvard Law School Global Certificate Program for Regulators of Securities Markets (IOSCO/PIFS) in 2016.
