Profile bio

About Luisa Peña Lyons

As a philanthropic advisor, leadership coach, nonprofit leader and political strategist my energy is focused on furthering equitable access to power and opportunity for leaders with proximity to today's most pressing issues, such as communities of color, those of working class backgrounds, and many more marginalized populations, particularly because they are underrepresented in leadership roles. These voices are essential to our collective problem solving processes in elected leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy. During the past several years, I have been working to hone my change management skills to bring about individual, organizational and societal shifts on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. I'm energized when working on projects that help impact and change systems to create economic, educational and racial equity. Meeting new people and fostering authentic relationships are core to my ethos. I am a weaver, an activator and organizer, who strives to contribute to the development of strong organizational culture, and impact. I'm also passionate about designing and facilitating equity-focused, transformational experiences for groups. My practice is focused on the liberatory consciousness model and on effective, relational change management skill development.

Listed skills include Politics, Research, Community Outreach, Spanish, and 15 others.
