Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology Specialist. PhD in Pharmacy, Nanotechnology.➊ I have experience in the field of innovative drugs, in the use of nanotechnology for the formulation of controlled release and drug delivery systems for the treatment of various diseases. I have collaborated from the initial stages of drug development (R&D) to its optimization, technology transfer and scale-up, for manufacturing and translation to clinical trials and commercialization.➋ I have had the opportunity to develop my professional career in different fields, such as universities, Research Centers, Pilot and Industrial sites. I have been part of different international projects for the start-up of new facilities in the area of Nanomedicine and Advanced Therapies, playing different roles of responsibility in the areas of Quality. I am currently developing my activity in a new facility for the commercial production of Gene Therapy.➌ Additionally, I coordinate the working group of Advanced Therapies and Biological Medicines of the Spanish Association of Industry Pharmacists and I am a member of other forums/Committees of Scientific Societies/Associations. ➍ I also actively collaborate in scientific dissemination activities. I participate in groups that promote equality and diversity, currently coordinating the group of Spain and Portugal of Women in Pharma of the ISPE Association.➎ Parallel to the above, I collaborate in different teaching activities.
