I'm a graphic designer and art director from Colombia currently based in Brooklyn. One of my deepest interests is human connection. Connection to ourselves and others. Throughout my career, I have used design and visual communication to explore different paths to deepen that connection. I believe design can be a powerful tool for democratizing complex information, spreading social justice initiatives, and, ultimately, contributing to a more equal and just world for all.I hold a BFA in advertising and graphic design from UJTL (Bogotá) and an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts (New York). I have experience working on printed matter, books, branding, and motion graphic projects for independent visual artists, cultural institutions, and not-for-profit organizations such as UN Women, the Knight Foundation, the Parkinsons Foundation, the International Book Fair of Bogotá, amongst others.
