Provisioning services in the voice network infrastructure like DMS, CS2K, AXE, SONUS interconnected with PBXs from customers (R2, ISDN, SIP).

Providing Tier 1 services support to MSC/MSS, HLR and MGW platforms for customers in Latin America. (Mobile carriers)

-Activities on Voice switching and Access national network including Nortel DMS switches, DMS-STP SS7 network, Ditech 18E1 and Quad Echo Cancellers. Softswitches (Alcatel A5020, Huawei SX3000), Prepaid services PhoenixSoft and Nekotec, Wimax Motorola, GPON FTTH Zhone).-Tracking of Availability, MTBF and MTTR based on records stored on Remedey and Clarify ATMS systems (datamarts) and system´s LOGS.-Traffic analysis and definition of required KPIs (key Performance Indicators) on Voice SW, WiMax, FTTH-Definition and follow up of action plans in order to avoid future cases with same root cause.-Continous improvement (Kaizen teams)-Those activities involves such data as traffic patterns, network faults, customer trouble reports, employee suggestions, equipment repair histories, performance (memory, cpu, ), etc.

-Activities on Voice switching national network including Nortel DMS-250 switches, DMS-STP SS7 network, Periphonics CTX -CTI prepaid services, Ditech 18E1 and Quad Echo Cancellers. Softswitches (Alcatel A5020, Huawei SX3000, PhoenixSoft, Nekotec, Tekelec_VocalData).-Tracking of Availability, MTBF and MTTR based on records stored on Clarify ATMS system and platforms LOGs.-Postmortem reports creation in order to identify root cause for Case Trouble Tickets classified as Network Outage (Severity 1) and for top 100 corporate customers. -Vendor management activities: Definition and tracking of SLAs with outside parties. (Nortel, Periphonics, Alcatel, Ditech, PhoenixSoft, Nekotec, Tekelec)-Identify opportunities (technial audits) for making network changes in order to improve the efficiency, reliability, availability or quality of the network.-Acting as an internal auditor to maintain ISO9001:2000 BVQI certification.

Technical Support (2nd - 3rd levels) for the Voice switching national network including Nortel DMS-250 switches, DMS-STP SS7 network, Periphonics CTX -CTI prepaid services, Ditech 18E1 and Quad Echo Cancellers. Softswitches (Alcatel A5020, Huawei SX3000).Providing support to internal groups: NOC, Nationwidw Site Engineers (performance, hardware replacement), Provisioning (basic translations), Customer Service Consultants (client configurations).-Basic sysadmin Solaris administration for Intelligent Networks and Prepaid services platforms.-ONP activities for software and hardware upgrades.-Acceptance Protocols elaboration on infrastructure´s new projects (DMS250, Softswitches & Echo Cancellers, Prepaid services) in order to test new equipment before its rollout implementation on production.-Activities with network infrastructure vendors in order to create preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. -Providing solutions on network service impact situations and customer tickets on a timely basis and Postmortem reports creation.-Y2K contingency plan co-author for supported equipment.-Author of ISO9001:2000 documents in order to obtain and maintain BVQI certification for Techcnical Support group.

Troubleshot and maintained a 350 Ethernet LAN leading a team of coworkers in order to support manufacturing production lines and automation office (PC and Mac users).-Administration of the corporate WAN access between Mexico and USA.-Nortel Meridian, Cisco Routers, Timeplex Mux, were used for voice and data network-Network migration to new facilities without service impact including Routers, PBX, Cabletron Hubs, Switches, QMS Printers, HP servers and cabling CAT5 UTP.-Sysadmin tasks for HP9000 mini, Netware users for human resources department, Apple email server, backup server administration.-Networking troubleshooting including TCP/IP, Netware, Banyan Vines, Apple Talk, HPUX.DBA jr., Progress db for the payroll services.-Outsourcing and third party vendor technician coordination.Implementation of Remote Access to corporate network for Management personnel.
