I am a strategic HR consultant advising senior executives across Amazon’s Legal and Public Policy organization. I coach leaders on inclusive management strategies, organizational design, compensation planning, and equitable performance management practices, all while leading the organization’s annual talent evaluation cycles and leading the end-to-end planning of employee engagement and change management initiatives. Additionally, I serve as President of Amazon’s Latinos in HR affinity group, where I lead a team of like-minded Amazonians dedicated to creating a “comunidad” of empowered HR professionals.

As a Senior HR Business Partner advising Amazon Payments, I had the opportunity to provide strategic HR support to a highly matrixed and globally dispersed fintech organization. I collaborated closely with VPs and Directors on all strategic HR-related matters, including the planning and execution of change management initiatives. I leveraged these moments as opportunities to coach on the value of inclusion and empathy while ensuring that we met our business goals.

Supported HR integration activities resulting from the Puma Energy acquisition, focusing on benefits, compensation, and culture. Developed and implemented APAC HR learning series to improve manager capabilities. Advised Australian business leaders on talent strategy and company processes. Investigated and resolved complex employee relations investigations.

Advised senior leaders on people strategy and led talent management initiatives. Worked with union representatives on policies and processes impacting pipeline workers. Coordinated integration efforts in Texas and Colorado following Noble Energy acquisition. Supported improvement initiatives and union bargaining prep at Chevron's Oak Point Plant. Served as a leadership team member and facilitator for the Office of Global Diversity’s Elevate program, a program focused on building corporate fluency around the concepts of intersectionality, privilege and bias.

Coached senior leaders in the Information Technology Company on HR processes and change management strategies. Supported company wide reorganization efforts. Collaborated with international partners to develop localized offboarding practices. Investigated and resolved complex employee relations issues. Coordinated recruitment efforts for the HR Development Program.

Advised Tulane’s Law School, School of Architecture, School of Business and Howard-Tilton Library on HR practices. Coached supervisors on how to effectively manage employee performance. Leveraged data to identify workforce trends and improve employee retention. Implemented COVID-19 policies and processes across client groups. Investigated, and resolved complex employee relations issues.

Managed program operations, and led improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team. Modernized the student employee onboarding experience. Built new manager trainings to improve leadership skills for early-career supervisors. Provided HR generalist support to part-time employees and hiring managers. Supervised a team of full-time and part-time employees.

Led a small business consulting program that promoted financial literacy and entrepreneurship in minority communities. Provided bilingual technical assistance to a portfolio of 10 small business owners.
