I was responsible to ensure the quality of the delivered code of a software engineers team, validating the design, improving it with best practices and design patterns and finally performing the first level code reviews of every new pieces of software to be implemented, also I was responsible of develop and deliver code working with the team.I have worked on two teams as Technical Lead, the first one was a team in charge of work with a backlog of Security and Error Cleanup issues of a credit card and loans web application and the second team was in charge of implement new features in the same web applications.Both project worked with SCUM methodology to ensure biweekly delivers to the client.

I was part of the production support team working for an American bank as a contractor in Mexico facilities.I was in charge of analyze and fix production back end defects of a middleware software which implements a bunch of interfaces between a third party software and the bank built with technologies as Oracle SQL, Java, JDBC, RESTeasy, JAX-WS, IBM Wesphere, Spring Batch and Control-M.I was also part of the taxes production support, creating reports and applying fixes to avoid reporting and withholding taxes issues.We were working with SCRUM methodology to ensure the success of our support.

I worked at the software development team, implementing a Seidor's platform used by government institutions to offer citizens an online point of contact to request services. We implemented it in two Mexican states (Tlaxcala and Puebla). The main tasks were to install the platform and implement the interfaces with each government software to offer all the services in this platform as the only point of contact, using REST and SOAP web services with technologies such as Java, Hibernate, JAX-WS, Spring MVC and Apache Tomcat.I was part of the team in charge of design, develop and implement a government platform to city hall sessions in the Puebla City hall, I developed a part of the front end and all the services consumed by the mobile application.

I worked in the engineering team being in charge of the stamping application, a component of the back end, a bunch of SOAP and REST web services used to receive, process and generate the stamping for invoices following the rules of the Mexican law to certificate them.I implemented two new invoices complements and added the capability to stamp withholding invoices using technologies as Java EE, Hibernate, Metro Framework, AXIS2, mySQL and JBoss.I updated the process to maintain the production servers, avoiding a lot of manual processes such as database backups and deployment, writing bash scripts. It reduced production issues such as slow databases and server high response times, guaranteeing the high availability of the application due it was a 24/7 service.

I worked as a contractor in BBVA Bancomer in the Bancomer Derivates (Part of the MexDer) software development team at production support.I helped in a project to migrate the back end from a old software wrote in C language to Java and from Windows 2000 Server to SuSe Enterprise to be in compliance with the software policies, removing old software without security updates, reducing the security risks in the bank. It was part of the main application used by the bank to operate in the Mexican Stock Exchange institution.I designed, developed and implemented the new interfaces using Java SE, Java EE, Hibernate, SyBase SQL, Control-M and IBM Websphere.Also I participated at the end of 2013 in the team in charge of implement the new rules for the billing generation in compliance with the federal law reform to calculate the taxes.
