I currently work as a self-employed English teacher where I teach the English language to students online, via videoconference, helping them to achieve fluency with their specific professional and personal goals in regards to the language.

Luby is a software house with a $54M revenue, 10 years of experience with US-based clients such as Sunwest Bank and DCI, focusing on supporting Banks, FinTechs and other Financial Institutions.Main projects developed from scratch:TGL Lottery - A REST API built with Adonis.js and Typescript which features CRUD operations with entities stored in and retrieved from a MySQL database. For user password resetting, a microservice was created implementing Kafka and nodemailer. Docker was used to run the services in containers and Automated Tests were written with Japa.Lubycash - A REST API built with Adonis.js and Typescript that performs banking operations featuring CRUD and MySQL database, integration with an express.js service for user approval validation and another microservice for user password resetting with Kafka and nodemailer. All services run in containers using Docker. TGL Lottery (Nest.js version) - A GraphQL API built with Nest.js and Typescript which features CRUD operations with TypeORM entities, validation and MySQL database. Docker was used to run the services in containers.

PediuFarma App is a mobile-first pharmaceutical e-commerce product that provides a solution for users to find the best prices for drugstore items near them through which they can be purchased and delivered.Some examples of my results include:Performed maintenance for bug correction and improvements on the back-end of start-up’s mobile-first application using Node.js and Google Firebase services such as Cloud Functions and Firestore, which made it more stable and improved its performance for users.Developed several pages for the mobile app’s second version using Flutter which improved user experience and interface, resulting in sales increase after release. Built a microservice to generate JWT tokens for users on the mobile app using Node.js, Docker and deployment with Google Cloud Run, enhancing the product’s security.

I worked for the Térmica do Açú Consortium, which comprises the companies Andrade Gutierrez and Siemens Aktiengesellschaft and is building the first Thermo Plant in the Açú Super Port, in Sao João da Barra, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.My main duties involved: elaborating and teaching English classes to Supervisors, Engineers and Managers; studying and revising P&ID diagrams, translating documents, letters and instruction manuals from Portuguese to English and vice-versa, and instant translation in meetings, visits and walkdowns to deliver construction parts to the client.

I worked at one of the most prestigious English schools in Brazil, Cultura Inglesa, as an English Instructor. I learnt most of my professional communicative skills by elaborating and teaching classes to several groups of students, ranging from children to adults of all levels.
