The Fund is a new tool set up within the framework on urgent measures for supporting the economic recovery and employment, which is managed by a Managing Council through the state-owned industrial holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI).The Fund has as its goal to provide temporary state support in order to reinforce the corporate solvency of companies impaired by the COVID-19, which are regarded as strategic, due to their sensitive social and economic impact, their importance for security, the health of the population, the infrastructures, the communications, or for their role in the adequate operation of the markets, among other reasons.The Fund has been initially endowed with €10,000 Million, and it will provide its support through any capital and/or capital hybrid tool. In a supplementary way, it will be able also to provide its support through other credit means.

In this recent role, I initiated and headed high-impact projects, analysing opportunities and project plans for Spain and Latin America’s first regionwide pure transportation infrastructure operator with a nearly 20-asset portfolio spanning toll roads, ports, airports, and light rail assets. To support this enterprise, I prospected and secured valuable public-private partnerships, driving the promotion and development of transportation infrastructure projects. I also facilitated and directed diverse greenfield and brownfield project developments and implementations.★ Conducted high impact business development, extending a port terminal management scheme to empower company landlord port and port operator functionalities.★ Analysed and managed a number of greenfield port developments across the USA, Puerto Rico, Chile, and Colombia; monitored project operations to ensure the execution of top-tier due diligence processes, enforcing regulatory and project requirement compliance across every phase.★ Controlled management of operational concessions and port assets in Alicante, Tenerife, and Valparaiso.★ Developed and implemented an innovative reporting system for three operational terminals, collaborating with the steering committee to standardise budgeting and estimation processes.

ALG (Indra Business Consulting)Consulting with a range of clients and enterprises, I analysed infrastructure planning, policy, and investment needs and feasibility to develop dynamic transport and logistics strategies. I conducted detailed market and feasibility studies, researching existing infrastructure and proposals to determine best-fit plans and roadmaps. I also co-ordinated with governments, public agencies, private institutions, and multilateral organizations, adapting project plans to align with requirements, investment needs, and viability.★ Under ALG, conducted a large-scale strategic plan for the Moroccan Maritime Transport Sector for the Ministère de l’Equipement et du Transport. Directed and captained the execution of the complex project, collaborating with and co-ordinating numerous diverse stakeholders with minimal resources to ensure successful outcomes.

★ Prospected, qualified, and secured high-value business opportunities as Principal Consultant with Tierlog, building high-impact partnerships and networks to drive business growth and development through expert liaison, client acquisition, and business development.

During this time, I headed the co-ordination and provision of expert consultancy and advisement, guiding executives across the private and public sectors in the planning of efficient, impactful transport and logistics strategies. I leveraged big-picture vision to aid the resolution of complex international transportation, infrastructure, and logistics challenges. Additionally, I collaborated with internal teams, planning consultancy services delivery; I also consulted with diverse clients to effectively define requirements and co-ordinate consulting projects and initiatives.★ Conducted nine port strategic plans, one for each Spanish Port Authority client; consulted with clients to define roles, needs, and contributions within the port community and stakeholders, collecting data to effectively analyse current-state and develop innovative alternate recommendations and strategies. Established balanced scorecard and action plans, governing and overseeing plan revision and execution.★ Executed and collaborated on more than 30 studies, plans, and consulting projects and services for diverse public and private clients.

As Technical Advisor, I provided expert technical guidance and recommendations as a member of the Spanish Delegation to the IMO. I represented the Association of Spanish Naval Engineers, shaping IMO planning and strategy to ensure successful maritime development and future operations; liaised with diverse, high-level stakeholders and partners to secure support for key programmes and steer decision making; and consulted with the Spanish Maritime Administration (Dirección General de Marina Mercante) to define a strategy and vision.★ Attended and participated in diverse high-level meetings as Technical Advisor, including IMO and other governing body assemblies, to defend the interests of Spain in maritime operations

Altius S.A. offers its services to clients with all sorts of requirements in transport and related activities (logistics activities, management of the transport, making-up of documents, customs clearance, import - export licences, etc). Duties: Freight management. Assistance and support during the negotiation and 'fixing' process. Drawing up custom proforma documentation and charterparties. Postfixture support and assistance with all documentation and exchanges up to the completion of the voyage and settlement of all outstanding matters.

In this capacity, I planned, co-ordinated, and executed diverse engineering projects, supporting 3D shipbuilding design and engineering services for a range of ship types and shipyards.★ I coordinated an outsourced outfitted design project developed on site in Chantiers de l’Atlantique (St. Nazaire, France) for the Queen Mary II cruise ship
