With over 30 years of work experience in IT, I have led and contributed to multiple projects and initiatives in the fields of infrastructure, cloud FinOps, CI/CD, test automation, quality assurance, and software engineering. As the Director of Infrastructure at Farfetch, I was responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the global platform that connects luxury fashion lovers with over 1,300 of the world's best brands and boutiques. I managed a team of over 100 engineers and oversaw the design, implementation, and maintenance of the infrastructure services, tools, and processes. I also partnered with other teams and stakeholders to optimize the performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness of the platform. I held various leadership roles at Farfetch, such as TechOps Director, Global SRE Director, and Software Quality and Delivery Director, where I applied my expertise in test automation, quality assurance, and software engineering to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. I also co-founded and served as the CEO of Maincheck, a startup that developed a cloud-based platform for software testing and quality management. Additionally, I have been actively involved in the software testing community, serving as the Secretary General of the Portuguese Association of Software Testing and participating in several events and conferences. I am passionate about coaching, mentoring, innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction, and I enjoy working with diverse and talented teams to solve complex and challenging problems.
