About Luis Knob

In my Masters, I focused on using Software-defined Networks (SDN) on Internet Exchange Points (IXP) to identify elephant flows. I also researched the field of IoT security and Smart Grids.My Ph.D. dissertation focused on Edge Computing and Containerization, mainly optimizing applications deployments on several edge nodes. During this period, I was a member of GRIN (Grupo de Pesquisa em Redes, Infraestrutura e Computação em Nuvem) at PUCRS, working with cloud, security, and network-related projects.Besides the academic field, I also had experience as a network/cloud project manager.Linux/Opensource enthusiast.
