Heritage professional with chemistry education specializing in the research and preservation of artifacts and material culture. I believe objects great and small evoke empathy in their interactions with people and represent a tangible link to our past. It is my honour to preserve the stories they represent.Currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management. My freelance work specializes in archaeological artifacts, their cataloguing and processing as well as 3D/digital analysis.I'm always on the lookout for collaborative interdisciplinary projects, where my chemistry background and humanities training are considered an asset. ---Current and Past Projects---Analyzing amphoras from the 7th Century shipwreck in Yassi Ada.Researching and reconstructing artifacts from the shipyard of shipbuilding legend Louis Shickluna. Previously involved in researching and handling a diverse range of objects including archaeologically recovered materials, Ancient Roman coins, phospholipids and enzymes, radioactive sources, supramolecular complexes, 19th Century ceramics and glassware, and blood, bones and other biohazardous samples.Masters thesis explored the extraction of forensic intelligence from ecstacy tablets, performed in coordination with Police Scotland in Glasgow, UK.
