Transportation Manager
Current● Strategically optimize transportation routes for timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.● Collaborate with suppliers, and distributors to streamline the supply chain and enhance overallefficiency● Monitor and control transportation costs, implementing measures to minimize expenses withoutcompromising service quality.● Identify opportunities for process improvement, and implementing changes to enhance theeffectiveness of transportation operations.● Work closely with customer service teams to address transportation-related inquiries andconcerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.● Leverage transportation management systems and technology for routing, tracking, and reporting.● Lead and manage a team of 4 members to achieve and exceed team Key Performance Indicators(KPIs).● Conduct comprehensive training sessions for team members, covering new softwareimplementations, process improvements, and additional skill development.● Facilitate a collaborative and productive team environment, fostering continuous learning andgrowth.
