Served as the Trip Leader & Coordinator for the first ever Google Community Leaders Program (CLP) Alternative Spring Break. Alongside 3 others member, we traveled to New Orleans and Atlanta to visit their respective Google CLP. Appointed as National Chair of the Global Toolkit Committee. Its purpose is to develop a toolkit that all students globally could use to develop a Google Community Leaders Program (CLP) in their city/school - with the mission of bridging the digital divide around the world. The committee is comprised of members from 8 Google CLP's across the nation.

Accepted in the 1st/Inaugural Class of the National Breakthrough Fellowship. The Fellowship is centered on using innovative tactics and strategies to disrupt violent norms and behaviors centered on gender-based violence on college campuses. 6 fellows were chosen from over 120 applicants from across the nation.• Analyze gender norms and practices prevalent on their respective campuses. Alongside this analysis, Fellows will plan and implement a campus action to disrupt the practice they deem most harmful.• Mentor other students looking to make change. This mentorship will take place through Breakthrough’s existing social media channels, as well as through Breakthrough’s 1­on­1 coaching, or “Office Hours,” program.• Help design, promote, and potentially attend Breakthrough’s national convening in February 2017, as well as help plan and design the following convening in August 2017.

Tasked directly from the Office of the President of Rutgers and President Barchi himself, our team were tasked with creating the mission course for the creation of the new Honors College. The purpose of the course was to teach concepts and skills relating to “Social Innovation” while using the framework of the Rutgers Strategic Plan to guide the curriculum.• Benchmarked the best practices of various top-tier institutions across the nation, such as Harvard, Stanford, UPenn, and University of Michigan on their programs relating to Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship.• Analyzed how to best measure the teaching and learning of abstract concepts such as innovation, using President Obama’s Presidential Fellows Program as one of the viable experiential learning models for our prospective students.• Reviewed the Rutgers multi-year strategic plan to act as the framework on which values the course should instill in students to align with the mission of Rutgers.• Compiled resources of effective learning activities to engage students in, such as case competitions, creating business plans, video editing, and other technical and transferrable skills students could you beyond the course.• Redesigned and developed new lesson plans for the 14 week course, laying out the day by day and week by week learning objectives, speakers and activities for each class session.

Rutgers Rising Leaders Institute was a semester long program for first year and transfer students. The program engaged participants to recognize and develop their leadership styles through assessment, practical experiences, and professional feedback. Experts in the fields of leadership, communications, ethics, and civil engagement were part of this 14-week curriculum.

Was chosen as the Student Keynote Speaker for the launch of the United Nations "HeForShe" Campaign at Rutgers in partnership with Douglass Residential College. HeForShe is an international solidarity movement for gender equality. Over 300,000 men across the world have taking the pledge to stand against sexual and domestic violence and gender inequality, with the hope of enlisting 1 billion men around the world to stand in solidarity.http://www.heforshe.org/

The purpose of the Mark Conference is to inspire action among students and encourage them to think critically about the “mark” they will leave on the world around them. The conference empowers students to think of themselves as agents of change not only on campus but within the community and the world.
