CARDIF is a French bank insurance company. A part of the BNP PARIBAS (Banque Nationale de Paris), present in almost 40 countries. It's also known as Pinnacle Insurance in other countries worldwide.I started this year with a main function, build the DATA Center for Perú. Planning, investigate and implementing the technological updates, work standards and best practices at the company. Designing and promoting integration processes with new partners and strategic clients (Local Banks). Acknowledge and achieve the users support requirements. Assigning priorities and organize the Technology department tasks. Making a follow up on the status of each issue. Coordinate the work plan of the employees on my command.Installing and administering databases. Production (Live), Test (Quality Assurance), and Development environments. Managing, migrating and deploying different operating systems.Managing the PABX resourcesManaging and Implementing Mail and Fax services. Managing the Internet and Information Security services (Proxy, Firewall), creation of profiles and Internet access rules. Managing the permissions and traffic by ports or protocols (i.e. HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, POP3, etc. On UDP or TCP/IP)Installing and administering the Callcenter Platform (Vocalcom Hermes Software).Installing, configuring and updating switches and routers. Managing the antivirus systems. Patterns and Outbreak alerts follow-up control and Reports.Maintaining the hardware resources of the company. Replacing Servers, Workstations and Notebooks parts and components.Maintenance of warranties and spare parts contracts. (IBM, HP).Designing and planning the IT Budget Accomplish the head offices budgets authorization. Creating different production reports. Administering the Assets management of Hardware and Software. Licenses and Software agreement acknowledge.

Apr 1999 to July 2006 IT Production Manager (IT Network Manager, HelpDesk and telecommunications for Bank BNP PARIBAS (Ex-Banqué Nationale de Paris) In 1999 I started working in Banqué Nationale de Paris. My main role was as technical support, network administration, communications (cisco, pbx), etc.I was in charge of all production servers including task as Operator System in RS600 with OS AIX. I also was in charge to give IT support to the others territories of the group (Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Chile).

I worked for SGS (“Societe Generale de Surveillance”) Lima for 7 years. This international company, with 35,000 employees world wide, deals with audits and certification in various sectors.My main function at SGS was Senior Operator in AS/400, being also responsible for the communications between the South American sites, using routers and dedicated lines. I was involved with the configuration of the AS/400 system, the connections with the PCs (hubs, switches, etc…).My role was both technical support and development of Queries, CLs with RPG/400. I spent some time at the Help Desk of In-house Software and Hardware such as AS/400, PCs or printers of various types.In 1998 I became responsible for Administrating the Net and the NT servers.During this time I travelled to several countries of South America to implement the communications between offices, evaluating their needs and taking the necessary actions.
