ARME, founded in 2022, aims to promote and support Spanish companies involved in the production of mobile robotics equipment. Spain is now one of the leading countries in mobile robot manufacturing and integration globally.As an external advisor, I contribute to the association by:- Assisting suppliers based in the Benelux region, providing strategic insights and guidance.- Offering a customer’s perspective on potential projects and strategies, helping to shape the group's approach and objectives.

- Led projects to implement various automation solutions in Tesla's warehouses, such as Autostore and AGVs, significantly boosting productivity and reducing costs.- Established and managed a team of two engineers to redesign and implement all processes for managing parts across more than 200 service centers in EMEA, including determining the necessary equipment.- Oversaw continuous improvement initiatives across all service centers, driving operational efficiency and process optimization.- Managed and led a team of parts advisors in multiple countries, including the UK, Ireland, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, with responsibility for up to 50 people.- Implemented a new Warehouse Management System across all service centers, collaborating with the IT development team and ensuring comprehensive training for end-users.- Developed and conducted audits to ensure compliance with parts management protocols in service centers.

- In addition to previous responsibilities, led various cross-functional projects within Tesla's EMEA organization in the Netherlands, as well as in other locations including Belgium, Norway, and Dubai, across different branches such as Energy and Delivery.- Oversaw Rectification Engineering activities, ensuring effective solutions for identified issues.Designed, implemented, and managed processes for resolving containment issues, enhancing operational efficiency.- Developed and optimized process flows for the Delivery team, improving workflow and productivity.Led the assembly process for a specific Energy team project, ensuring timely and quality execution.- Mentored three interns during this period, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in assembly line design, I was responsible for the end-to-end management of new assembly line projects. My key responsibilities included:- Provided feedback during the prototype phase, offering insights into design for manufacturing, estimating assembly hours, and investment costs.- Designed and procured tools for prototype assembly, ensuring alignment with project requirements.- Developed and implemented final assembly lines, ranging from manual setups to semi-automatic systems with robots, AGVs, and conveyors.- Led a cross-functional team, including tooling engineers, quality assurance, production, maintenance, lifting equipment engineers, and procurement specialists, to successfully implement new assembly lines.- Managed project budgets, ensuring financial control and efficient allocation of resources.- Oversaw commissioning processes first at the supplier's site and subsequently at the final installation location.- Defined and executed ramp-up plans, transitioning projects to full production capacity and formally handing over to the Production team.- Acted as a Lean Manufacturing Subject Matter Expert (SME), contributing to the company-wide implementation of a new Manufacturing Execution System (MES).- Optimized existing assembly lines through productivity enhancements and cost reduction initiatives, including Kaizen activities.
