Responsible for strategic planning, development and multi-channel implementation of all corporate, product and non-product positioning stories. Leads all efforts in the digital marketing, training and development of all necessary capabilities and material for executing cross-channel marketing campaigns in support of new services, products, value-added programs, benefit changes, added features, regulatory updates and other messages that are important to the field, advisors and clients.Provide positioning and updates to the sales force (including wholesalers, internals, key account managers, reps, and other home offices, i.e., Lansing, ICA, Invest, etc.) on trends, competitive and regulatory landscape, or launch and updates of products. Translate technical business aspects into meaningfully differentiated, simple and compelling concepts that communicate our core competencies and value proposition to our target audiences to create sales momentum.

Responsible for achieving better company and product positioning, stronger producer relationships, and higher sales, asset retention and profitability. Departmental functions include product marketing, sales support, channel management, design, branding and production management. Instrumental in reducing a $16 million annual budget through the redesign of materials, accomplished during a time period of record business volumes, significant organizational changes, substantial turnover after the relocation to Denver, and reduction in resources and budget – all while developing processes and maintaining departmental service and quality standards.

Primarily responsible for developing, managing and enhancing products and services offered to RPS prospects and customers. Also involved in strategic marketing and looking at the viability of new products and distribution channels while supporting capabilities offered to all sales organizations. Products included a $1.7 billion RPS fund alliance, called FundPartners(SM) and a $1.2 billion 401(k) Century Plan(SM) product. Additional products included Fund Reach, Investment Database, and Investment Only marketing of Advisor share class, including their inclusion in other alliances.

Accountable for the development and marketing of investment products, most notably, the GoalManager(SM) Service, a proprietary portfolio rebalancing service that automatically maintained a 401(k) plan participant’s targeted asset allocation. Provided superior level of investment services and portfolio allocation strategies to a growing client base. Increased profitability of the unit by increasing the total number of GoalManager clients by over 433%, from 152 to 810, and total number of assets by 137%, from 379 million to 898 million, over a one-year period. Developed customer base and increased market share through an aggressive business strategy to improve efficiency, and enhance service quality by automation of processes, establishing procedures and leveraging off existing resources. Dissected market trends and position tactics for the creation of new tools to allow for cross-selling Advisory Services and discretionary products to plan sponsors in the defined contribution business. Designed, programmed and implemented two Access databases for project and client tracking.
