In this role I managed a team of 23 managers, engineers and technicians to designed, build, maintained and optimized a wireless network of 2,400+ Sites with evolving technical layers of 2G/3G/4G/LTE.My team worked with development and operations to improve the network while supporting retail sales, B2B, operations and Customer Care.I also managed the Network Capacity Department for the SOCAL Market (End-to-End), which performed traffic studies, identified congestion solutions and executing network improvements.Over the last 10+ years, I have received over 10 achievement awards for excellence in Leadership, Engineering and Development which including a T-Mobile National Builders Award. Major Achievements included: - Acting Senior Development Manager who managed team to integrate 13 DAS with 250+ nodes (2015). - Lead LTE technology deployment and optimization for Southern California – 1500+ Sites (2013-2015) - Project Managed two major technology upgrades: Adding UMTS and then adding HSPA+ across the Greater Los Angeles Area for 2400+ sites. Managed teams in three markets. (2008 – 2010) - Developed and Project Managed a Spectrum Reduction Site Build Plan (168 sites) resulted in a savings to the company of $160M. (2006-2008) - Staffed and launched a new engineering market for T-Mobile. (2004-2005)

Working as a consultant via Logica.. International assignment to optimize a new wireless network for 1/4 of the country including Zurich, Lugano and the Gotthard Tunnel.

Department Lead for RF implementation group during new network roll-out. Team included two engineers, one RF technician and two administrative aids. Program management responsibilities included: construction coordination, collocations, FCC and FAA applications, utility-pole designs (GO95) and BOM preparation. Transitioned to RF engineer in 1997.* During this position, I worked for SBC/Pacific Bell Wireless/PBMS which eventually became AT&T in Southern California.

Three years as an Outside Plant Transport Engineer responsible for local loop design. This include telco OSP certification.Two years as a Central Office Switch Engineer responsible for multiple central office switch locations. Lead activities that included adding switch equipment and software upgrades by preparing MOPS, running multi-discipline meetings, writing SOWs, and maintaining budgets and schedules. Transitioned to Telemetry Instrumentation Engineer from Systems Engineering Assistant II at Hughes Missile Systems Group, Advance Design Division in Canoga Park, California.- Systems engineer experienced in designing, building, testing and integrating airborne communication systems which included digital data processors (that encode, compressor & encrypt), C & S band antennas, flight termination systems, transmitters and transponders.- Represented Hughes in PDR and CDR meetings with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Lawrence Livermore National Lab, John Hopkins Applied Physical Lab and NSA.- Understudy for Hughes senior scientist in telemetry and microwave communications.- Government clearances previously held: Secret and COMSEC.
