About Luis Hernandez Solis
"Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water." - Bruce LeeI genuinely believed that one day I would pass the Bar exam and become a well-known lawyer. All throughout community college and university, I was actively involved in my community, providing opportunities and space for the Latino community. I felt like I was pointed to work in something within the political or legal field, hence my degree in Politics and Latin American Studies. But after graduating and getting my degree, I felt like this was not the path for me. It wasn't until I took a few classes in accounting at a local adult school that I realized, "Hey, I actually truly enjoy this." It was challenging at first, but I kept going above and beyond to gain more knowledge in the field. That motivated me to learn more and gain more skills. I learned all the basics I could in these classes, for example, journaling transactions, bank reconciliations, and preparing end-of-fiscal period reports.In the past years, I have honed my administrative skills and added to my financial skills. I have experience working as an assistant to account receivable accountants. I have knowledge in working with software such as QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook while also picking up extensive experience working with clients and their accounts.
