About Luis Marques

Head of the Export Markets Business Unit at SUMOL+COMPAL. Over 20 years of professional experience in FMCG within the beverage industry and more than 10 in international markets. Competency in leadership, sales and marketing teams management, modern trade negotiations, international distributors management and brand franchising projects.SUMOL+COMPAL is a Portuguese company, market leader for non-alcoholic beverages in Portugal. We’re present in all 5 continents and over 50 countries, thru our own manufacturing plants (four in Portugal and one in Mozambique) and with local partners working either in a franchising or export model.Our brands are Sumol (www.sumol.pt), Compal (www.compal.pt) and Um Bongo (www.umbongo.pt). In Portugal we are also bottlers for PEPSICO (Pepsi, 7Up and Gatorade), AMBEV (Guaraná Antártica for Europe) and distributors of DAMM GROUP (Estrella Damm) and UNILEVER (Lipton) for the on-trade channel.
