•Manage the Depot Equipment (DEQ) Engineering Department, the mission consists in the design, buy and delivery support of the machines & tools which permit the maintenance of the train.•Study the interfaces between machines, civil work, the train, signalization, and all utilities (electricity, water, air compressed, etc.).•Bring technical support to the new tenders and contribute to the technical expertise development of the DEQ department.•Participate in the DEQ return of experience, reference solutions, and contribute to the competitiveness of these solutions.•Follow up of the equipment manufacturing until commissioning with the customer and support the project teams during installation until performance test and commissioning with the customer.•Provide action plan and/or technical solutions in case of deviation; evaluate the financial risks, monitoring the quality, cost and delay of the DEQ subsystem.

•Serve as SME for the creation of new machines, instrumentation, controls, fixtures, dies, toolings, prototypes and upgrades for Haina site plant using edge technologies such as CNC mills/lathes, 3D printers, laser cutters, etc. •Act as project manager for the introduction of new and upgraded technologies as well as automation strategies, from developing financial justification to function specification and supplier selection.•Provide technical support and design specifications for new product manufacturing and process development.•Manage automation projects built by outsourced automation vendors or in-house including concept work, equipment specification, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance test (SAT), Process validations (IQ, OQ, and PQ), risk assessment, installation and commissioning.•Drive continuous improvement in our major equipment and processes to improve OEE, productivity, quality, and cost.•Carry out all work in compliance with the required standards to conform with company SOP, GMP, GDP, health and safety, environmental guidelines, and FDA regulatory requirements.

Held multiple positions from lead technician VAVE & NPI, lead designer and being design engineer the last one, having these responsibilities:•Provide technical soundness of design decisions and products changes to facilitate manufacturing, reduce cost, substitute materials, improve quality and accommodate special customer needs.•Prevent and correct manufacturing issues that affect product function ability.•Plan and execute design strategies that minimize the implementation on cycle time and cost.•Perform laboratory tests according to the product, in order to review performance and validate proper product functionality.•Review, control and maintenance of deviation system and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO).•Lead PPAP for new and redesigned parts thru product runs and laboratory tests and document every aspect of the process in engineering reports.•Monitor breakers testing results and performance levels and align product enhancement activities to drive a reduction in third party holds, increasing endurance and design margins. Document these results in our DVP&R sheet.•Interact with test lab personnel and US engineering team to evaluate and resolve product holds.

•In charge of identify and repair mechanical and electrical problems presented by automated machines.•Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the automated machines and identify and implement improvements to increase production.•Change actuators, sensors, configure vision systems and PLC programs so the automated machines are always in production status.
