Lab technician Give support to the shop regarding to the material condition. this include select samples to preform a life assessment of the material. - Cut samples - Prepare samples to be mounting - Mount samples. - Grind and polish samples.- Perform the correct etchant for each alloy - Evaluate the microstructure- Prepare a report with the evaluation result and recommendations - Select heat treatments, evaluate material after heat treatments to assure the complete material reconditioning. - Prepare WPR, WPQ and PQR, qualify welders. - Analyze thermal barrier coat- Qualify spot welding process- Perform NDT Inspection VT, PT, MT
