The VA says an educated claimant is more likely to receive the benefit than not."Aid and Attendance Benefit" is a commonly used term for a Department of Veterans Affairs benefit that is available to qualifying veterans and their surviving spouses. The benefit is for those individuals who are spending the majority of their income on their health care. This benefit can provide considerable income to help offset the costs of long-term care.Our goal is to see that the applications of qualified men and women get approved smoothly and easily - the first time, at no charge to the veteran or their family. We are volunteers supporting veterans and their families.
