Mazda Parts Distribution Center, Grapevine, Texas

• Responsible for overseeing the transportation and dock operations of the Mexico cross border account at the Mazda Parts Distribution Center. • Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control. • Evaluate and recommend changes in preferred work methods to increase productivity of transportation and dock operations.• Performance management of direct reports. I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California

• Analyze, translate, and execute senior leadership operational requirements into movement reality to support any mission accomplishment.• Direct day to day operations of the Unit Movement Control Center. Responsible for planning and scheduling appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs.• Plan the preparation and transport of personnel and resources in response to military operations. • Provide technical expertise in the development of plans, goals and objectives, and lead implementation for new initiatives and programs.

11Th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Camp Pendleton, California

• Serve as principal advisor on all transportation issues; providing guidance on transportation regulations and policy concerns. • Analyze all operational requirements and develop load plans for ships, trucks and cargo aircraft.• Plan and supervise all terminal operations and on-loads/offloads of ships, trucks and aircraft. • Responsible for the day to day operations of the environmental compliance program ensuring proper stowage and disposal of all hazardous materials are in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Japan

• Manage a team of 18 personnel responsible for developing and executing the intermodal transport of military personnel and equipment throughout Asia and South Pacific. • Plan and implement safety policies and practices in the performance of cargo aircraft, trucks and ship on-loads/offloads. • Responsible for the accountability and security of over 1800 serialized ordnance items.• Train foreign military personnel from India, Philippines, Republic of South Korea and Australia in ship load capabilities and time/distance calculations.
