About Luis Mata Vallespin

Over 20 year of experience in food quality and safety. I have participated and led more than 30 projects related with food analysis including the development of immunochemical (ELISA and Lateral flow tests), microbiological, enzymatic and molecular applications. Currently, my main areas of interest are the detection of veterinary residues (antibiotics) in food, micotoxins, seefood toxins, food allergens, food pathogens (Salmonella, Listeria, etc) and milk quality issues. Extensive experience in technology transfer from the internal R&D department, research centers and universities to commercial products.
