I have the privilege of serving as the Director for Technology and Cybersecurity for Mammoth Freighters - an aerospace leader in cutting-edge design and engineering of P2F cargo conversions. I oversee and provide strategic direction for the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity for our team nationwide.

As the leader of the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity team at FMPA, I reported directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Managing a team of IT professionals and consultants, my responsibilities included managing all IT and network systems, overseeing the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and migrating to cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Dynamics, and Teams.In addition to these responsibilities, I also worked closely with stakeholders, executives, and board members to identify technology needs and chaired an IT Steering Committee to ensure oversight over critical IT systems. I conducted routine DR testing to mitigate risks in the event of a hurricane or natural disaster, and managed all cybersecurity aspects, including penetration testing, incident response, security awareness, and phishing tests.I took pride in conservatively managing a multimillion-dollar departmental budget and provided cost-control efforts by working with vendors to help lower costs of technology and services. I also oversaw the maintenance of IT policies and procedures and collaborated with the executive team on annual updates to the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans (BC/DRP).Overall, it was a pleasure to lead the team at FMPA and ensure that they provide low-cost, reliable, and clean power to our owner-customers.

In my role as a network lead engineer, I was responsible for designing and securing a network that spanned 15 sites interconnected via Metro-Ethernet and over 1500 endpoints. All sites accessed resources from the main Orlando office, including VoIP, SQL databases, and web portals. I provided support for network connectivity issues and assisted in the new server build process, software updates, data backup and restore, and management of Citrix servers.I performed system and network audits, created new documentation for many processes, and put together network diagrams using Microsoft Visio. Routine security audits were conducted on network switches and firewalls, and necessary patches were applied to tighten up security while still maintaining access to services. I implemented LDAP authentication on all network switches and firewalls to increase accountability and change management, and managed a new controller-based Cisco wireless system with close to 100 access points.Other accomplishments included improving deployment of software installs and updates by implementing Symantec Deployment Solution as an imaging platform, leading a project to upgrade the library's core switch and firewalls to support a new internet circuit, implementing technology to control the power usage of workstations to reduce energy costs, and implementing a new ticketing system to simplify support requests and lessen the load on IT staff.Overall, I took pride in successfully managing and securing a complex network with multiple sites and endpoints while ensuring the efficient functioning of all related systems and processes.

As the manager of network support and administration, I oversaw the maintenance and security of the network infrastructure while providing training and support to end-users and students. I managed the IT budget and updated the school's technology plan, policies, and handbooks. Additionally, I planned and coordinated conferences, workshops, and training for staff and faculty while evaluating the technology needs of different departments. I successfully retrofitted all classrooms into smart rooms and upgraded the visual experience at school events through an audio/visual project. Furthermore, I designed and implemented a campus-wide wireless network to support the school's technology initiatives.

Network Administrator for Indra, a $1.8 billion-dollar international information technology corporation and manufacturer of military flight simulators. I played a vital role in ensuring seamless operations in the US headquarters, provided support to customers and users in Europe and America, upgraded servers, and implemented Active Directory across the organization. Additionally, I installed and administered Microsoft Exchange, migrated all user accounts and data, and secured web-facing servers onto a DMZ. I also implemented network policies and login scripts using GPOs and reduced long-distance costs by implementing VoIP. Furthermore, I maintained a SQL database and created custom reports using different BI tools. Finally, I supported Indra's ERP system and provided end-user training and support.
