As Data Manager, my job is to coordinate the Data Department and ensure that all requests are met. It is my responsibility to establish a connection between the department and the other areas of the club, as well as external stakeholders. Therefore, I aim to enhance the work of the other areas of the club by providing data that helps with decision-making. The beginning of the 2023/2024 season marked the establishment of the data department at SC Braga, leading to a shift in our primary focus. Currently, despite being a department that aims to cover all areas of the club, our main emphasis has become supporting professional football, particularly the coaching staff, scouting, observation and analysis department, among others. This collaborative work can take place in various ways, including compiling reports on players and teams, as well as the creation of Tableau dashboards that facilitate, optimize and enhance the work of departments. Simultaneously, the goal is to automate as many processes as possible.

My professional journey at SC Braga began as a Data Analyst. In this role, my primary responsibilities revolved around conducting studies on relevant football-related topics to provide support for the president's advisor. Simultaneously, I aimed to oversee the club's data collection and processing processes, seeking to enhance the internal data quality.The increasing demand for data across various areas of the club led to the expansion of the team, forming the Data Department. Following the establishment of the department, I transitioned to the role of Data Manager.

As Director for Employment at the Department of Career Development, my main mission was to bring University of Minho students closer to the job market. Therefore, my primary focus throughout the year 2021 was on organizing the START POINT Summit. The 13th edition of the University of Minho's largest job, entrepreneurship, and training fair featured the participation of over 50 companies, startups, and institutional partners. Over the course of the two-day event, approximately 1200 participants attended.A noteworthy highlight was the introduction of a dedicated mobile app for the event, developed in partnership with Codepoint, which marked a substantial improvement for this edition!

I was appointed to lead the student team responsible for assisting the University members of the Department of Information Systems in this mission.
