- Responsible for the development of procedures that extracted relevant information from various client database files as the project lead for four reinsured deals, contributing to the annual mortality study.- Created concise diagrams and visual tools summarizing the year-to-year trends of over 300,000 pensioners that would be presented to other actuaries during weekly meetings and later used in mortality study summary reports.- Analyzed the trends and notable deviations pertaining to pensioner casualties and be able to clearly present and document how the patterns will positively or negatively affect RBC Insurance reserves.- Developed reliable codes that would convert client database files to a common file format and also append month-to-month events for over 150,000 records across two reinsured deals.- Calculated the monthly payment amounts for each unique record across numerous reinsured deals that would then be compared to the cedant company’s payroll, taking note of any records with a difference over 0.01 per month.
