With over 18 years of dedicated professional experience, my journey has been anything but expected—it has been impactful and deeply rewarding.In my role as Chief Operating Officer at Fundación Paso del Norte, I am committed in driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and alignment with our mission. The results that I have delivered over the past eight years have been central to positioning the Fundación as a key grantmaking foundation in Ciudad Juárez and my tenure is marked by several significant milestones: transitioning the Fundación to a fully remote operation during the COVID-19 pandemic, securing a second $1M grant from the Hunt Family Foundation, attracting over $1M in operational support from the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, and spearheading our strategic community response.As COO, I manage our foundation's programs, operations, communications, finance, and IT areas, alongside a team of rockstars renowned for its talent and efficiency.While I’m lasered-focused on leading operations at Fundación, I still dedicate time to advising nonprofits, executives, and startups on strategy, leadership, and communications.

In collaboration with the Executive Director I was in charge of advancing strategic partnerships, a +50 million pesos annual fundraising plan and donor-engagement strategies. I was responsible of cultivating the organization's public and media relations; drafted speeches and press statements for the Executive Director and acted as spokesperson of her office and the organization. -
Operations ManagerLa Rodadora Espacio Interactivo Mar 2012 - Dec 2014Ciudad JuarezLa Rodadora is the largest and most important children museum of the Paso del Norte region (from New Mexico to Ciudad Juárez), it is also one of the largest in Latin America. For this exciting project I was privileged to be called on board before its inauguration to help with some of the fundraising activities, but mainly to structure the Operations deparment. A key element of the Operations department is the musem guides' program, a challenging and complex program that would recruit more than 500 college students every year to become RODIS (the special name for the museum guides).I coordinated the overall structure of this program and defined the Operations department processes. When the museum opened its doors I was in charge of the branding, administration and success of the RODIS program and supervised the general operation of the museum which every year serves more than 300,000 visitors.

ProducerRicardo Seco - Fashion Week Ny Dec 2011 - Feb 2012New York CityI was invited by fashion designer Ricardo Seco to coordinate the production of his first Fall/Winter show at Fashion Week New York. I was in charge of supervising finances, sponsors, logistics, light, sound, seating and the overall image of the event, as well as coordination of the public relations firm hired for the event. I was responsible of the thorough revision of contracts and agreements with vendors and staff and organized international travel arrangements for high profile guests and celebrities invited to the show.

Arte en el Parque is a nonprofit dedicated to cultural promotion in Ciudad Juarez.In 2011 I was invited to coordinate its festivals and activities. I was in charge of 6 massive festivals, each with an average attendance of 3,000 people and over 100 exhibitors. Throughout this season I also organized smaller cultural events in the poorest neighborhoods in Juárez, benefitting more than 2,000 people.
