At the same time, I transitioned to the UX design role, where I led my team into gathering what we have learned and helped inform decisions on the business side about what users need. We continue to adapt to the delivery-focused cycle, putting users front and center, as we move into production.

LATAM Corporate, the platform for enterprise customers who travel for business and work purposes, was set for a major redesign and rebuilding from the ground up. I played the role of a visual designer by exploring different solutions with an innovation-oriented framework on an environment with high uncertainty, while also created solutions for the new experience using our most certain hypothesis as inspiration.

There was room for improving the top level navigation of Banco Falabella’s mobile and web apps. With a stellar visual designer and a veteran experience director on board, we set out to conduct research with target users and came up with an effective solution.

- Conceptualizing products with our clients through user centered design and research methods, lining up business goals and real user needs.- Defining product features and design requirements that aim to solve problems found in the ideation phase, by means of discovery activities and laser focusing on a narrower scope.- Mapping out the product's information architecture by using classification techniques with users, resulting in a new site/app map showing the most optimal structure to meet business goals and user needs.- Sketching up and hi-fidelity wireframing, where each element answers to key interaction design principles and preset objectives.- Measuring the performance of the created solution before and after back-end integration, through user testing (usability of a certain section/element/flow, A/B, true intent, first click, etc.) and periodic analytics reports.
