Responsible for Labworks's Engineering team, overseeing product planning, development, quality assurance and documentation.Responsible for two international development teams as well as our organization's support team.Development of Microsoft and Opensource based desktop, web and mobile software.

Led technical and business efforts to refocus product strategy to high performance computing, directed UX development, led research in the fields of Big Data and Software Defined Services (through the use of Apache Mesos and Docker) and ultimately aligned roadmap and architectures to findings.Created a 2-year roadmap for the company, led the planning between PM, engineering and Architect teams, translated business problems into technical requirements, developed a standardized planning process for improved efficiency. Reverse-engineered undocumented APIs, discovered hidden features in third party products allowing our products to scale.Managed Adaptive Computing's integration team, quality assurance and documentation, as well as an international Engineering team out in Russia.My teams were responsible for developing and maintaining:- API services- Insight, a ZeroMQ event based, big data architected, service (that ties our entire product line together)- Software integration with third party vendors- user / admin web portal- dev-ops- and release management

Worked with bleeding edge technologies to guide the company on long-term technical strategy and vision by better understanding how they could be of use to the company in the short, medium and long term. Single-handedly created a prototype for what became the Dynamic Cloud Stack product, wrote advisory reports and ran performance benchmarks on different architectures and technologies.

Researched most common practices and requirements the Professional Services team encountered on the field and productized the company’s first Cloud Product. Developed the Adaptive HPC Product, allowing customers to eliminate silos, letting them bundle together Windows and Linux systems in the same cluster. Worked closely with Microsoft's HPC 2008 Product and Development teams and participated in their API development process.

Created a Computer Security Incident Response Team and developed partnerships with other CSIRT teams (national and international). Developed a centralized, secure, logging system, as well as a web portal to capture incident information. Reverse engineered attacks on core servers and wrote detailed reports on those attacks.

Architected the network, installed and maintained the school's main web, email and DNS servers. Did some very ingenious QoS based routing with iptables and cbq to optimize the use of the school's limited internet circuits.

Architected network and supporting services (ranging from web and email servers to central authentication systems (ultimately based on OpenLDAP), a wireless VPN (based on OpenVPN), developed a VoIP system (based on Asterisk) and a “small message service” web service.

Developed multiple services and applications to allow the IT department to easily detect network abuses. Rerouted the entire network across multiple segments, implemented Linux router servers with QoS to improve network communications and managed a secure email proxy server for the group.
