Based on formulating and solving an optimization problem of the global air transportation system (ATS) through a suitable combination of objective function and constraints to increase the ATS sustainability and to reduce the ecological impact.

Study of the reflector feasibility, which is part of a telecommunications antenna that during the launch phase has a minimum size, complying with the launcher's requirements and that, once in orbit, unfolds to reach sizes of up to 12 meters in diameter, for which, a series of deployment tests have been carried out.Final degree project focused on performing an extensive study about the most suitable materials for the surface of this reflector based on requirements imposed by the European Space Agency (ESA), as well as requirements related to loads and strains the reflector will be subjected to once in orbit.
