Worked one-on-one with emergency physicians located at Carondelet St. Mary's Hospital, Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital, and Carondelet Marana Hospital. Helped physicians before and during the COVID-19 pandemic by documenting their patient charts into Cerner Electronic Medical Record, placed consults to specialists, and assisted with other clerical duties.Participated and documented a wide variety of medical emergencies including Level 1 trauma, cardiac arrest, CVA, drug overdose, and complex psychiatric patient cases.

Helped found the organization. I worked with my team to market the organization to students and faculty on campus as well as networking with non-profits, clinics, latino organizations, and health professionals around Tucson.Personal duties included managing Facebook and Instagram pages, boosting engagement using analytics tools, building a website to facilitate on boarding for new members, designing email campaigns, creating digital and physical marketing materials, and organizing fundraisers.

I spent time in the Horton Group research lab at the University of Arizona. The goal was to gain insight towards the kinetic mechanism of bacterial proteins to prevent bacteriophage replication within the cell itself. My shadowing involved observation and hands-on experience in preparing the growth of E. coli cultures and isolation of targeted proteins.
