I have a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of California, Irvine. I have worked as an external consultant at the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. I also have experience as Economist of the Foreign Trade Office at Banco de México and Deputy Director of Foreign Trade Statistics at the Ministry of Economy. I have written and published academic articles on labor economics and minimum wages in international journals.
