I started my career in 1999, when successfully complete a technical/professional course of technical design. First working at BEL, Foundations and Concrete Special (now part of TD,sa.), a company of Teixeira Duarte's Group, one of the largest construction companies in the country. For 9 years I have developed my skills in the field of Structural Engineering, gaining experience in buildings, bridges, roads and viaducts.My tasks were to support the project team in several areas and materials, detailing of reinforced concrete and steel structures. In 2009 I embraced a new challenge and went to work for a consulting firm, also being one of the most prestigious in the country, A2P, Consult, ltd. The design challenges, the pressure of deadlines, the new challenges about materials and solutions and finally the project team made me grow a lot as a person and professional.2013 was my first contact with BIM through my Revit Structures teacher and great friend, Architect Décio Ferreira (Foster & Partners and Quadrante Group).The very next year I attended the BIC (BIM International Conference) where I heard for the first time about Cobie (Construction-Operations Building Information Exchange) and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bill East, the inventor of Cobie. Since then I have breathed BIM, and trying to improve my skills accordingly.In 2016 I made several training related to the topic:Univ. of Florida - Cobie Academy - "Cobie As Designed", "As Built" and "Quality Control"Qualicad - "Autodesk Revit MEP" and "Civil 3D"Univ. Lusófona - Graduate in BIM in IPD (Deep knowledge of BIM methodology related to the "UK BIM 2016 Mandate" and BIM level 2 compliance, PAS1192).In 2019 I meet PLANiT Measuring team. They are known by their quality deliverables when it comes creating digital twins and a real BIMed focused company.They are special in the industry, they are always looking to grow and learn new things, evolving and not afraid of making the necessary changes to raise the standard, so what a good fit for me.In 2020 I was invited to Teach at the International Master BIM Management at Zigurat.
