About Luís Miguel Ponte

My career started as management consultant at Deloitte, one of the "Big Four" professional services firms worldwide. I then decided to take the challenge of joining Critical Manufacturing, initially as a developer with the Product team. I have participated and then lead several MES implementations, mostly in the solar and electronics industries, before managing the global Product Implementation team. This group started with about 20 people, executing a handful of implementations, but grew to more than 100+ engineers, project managers and consultants, executing more than 40 projects simultaneously.Fast forward a few years, and I am now leading the Product engineering team (the same one I initially joined as a developer!), which includes Product Development, Product Support, Documentation and Training areas.
