About Luis Ramirez Hernandez
I’m a microbiologist and I love to study the microscopic life around us and inside us. I currently research the oldest arms race on earth, between bacteria and phage, and I've utilized diverse approaches from gene-editing to microscopy and functional genomics to better understand these complex interactions. I like looking for patterns and making observations that connect seemingly different situations to better understand the basic biology of microbial life. I am currently seeking for new job opportunities and specifically looking to join a team of eager researchers.
