Team Leader for the Business Intelligence Platform, Financial Applications, and Key Performance Indicators for the Puerto Rico Region. Member of Pfizer Corporate Team that evaluated selection of new ERP system. Member of Pfizer Global Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse organization.  Designed and implemented large-scale data warehouse platform that fulfilled all information requirements. This platform made it possible to eliminate a large group of stand-alone/shadow-IT systems. Core team member of System Alignment Project which replaced Warner-Lambert’s SAP application with Pfizer’s standard systems, leading the Financials, Interfaces and Data Warehouse processes deployment.  Led financial and applications integration during Pharmacia acquisition, including project’s leadership, validation deliverables, contracted resources, recruiting and management. Led creation of first application portfolio document for Puerto Rico region that provided knowledge base on core systems and auxiliary solutions. Led SAP 4.6B financial implementation, leading a group of colleagues and consultants during implementation activities, which included Gap Analyses, Prototyping, and Testing.

Responsible for the SAP support for the Finance and Business Intelligence Platform and assist cross functions during the deployment lifecycle. Led the SAP 4.6B Financial deployment including Beta Testing, Prototyping, Gap Analyses, Business Scenarios build up, Integration, Regression and Unit Testing.  Coordinated users walk throughs during the design phase and Business Scenarios sign off by Finance management. Designed and Developed a validated tool that automatically verified and certified the Master Data upload eliminating the need of manual verification.

Responsible for the Consumer HealthCare Operation full accounting management. Supported the new products introductions to the site covering cost projections, revaluation of standards, inventory turnovers, productions variances analyses, budgeting, capital plan, and corporate management reporting.  Performed a strategic study to determine the impact on harmonizing consumer health formulas and packaging configuration resulting in substantial annual savings to the organizations.

Supervised the General Accounting and Fixed Assets department for the manufacturing site. Responsible for quarterly and yearly financial reporting, cost improvement program, capital expenditure requests approval, capital and depreciation plan, and fixed assets control. Defined and implemented a Physical Inventory plan and execution that helped the site in updating the financial systems with accurate plant assets information. Lead the implementation of the site’s stock items requisitioning system CMMS.
