Accountable for Oncology and Primary Care Portafolios in Latin America.Build and manage talent across the region.Collaborate in development of clinical research strategy in the region together with the Regional Leadership and Global Medical Affairs, aligned with long term regional and corporate objectives.

Ensure successful execution of clinical trials in Oncology for the Americas region. Conduct clinical studies and develop the pipeline while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. Be the primary point of contact between HQ and Country Operations and develop understanding of country requirements to proactively serve and coordinate country needs. Partners closely with HQ functional areas and builds meaningful relationships and networks across the organization.

Ensure compliance with ICH, GCP, Merck global standards and policies, local laws and regulations. Maintain quality standards and involved in protocol specific training.
