Tutors: David Melodelina, Research Director DR2, LabTAU Marine Sanchez, PhD Student, LabTAUThe purpose of the internship is to continue the work done as part of a thesis project: "Development of a torus transducer to treat breast cancer".This internship objective is to test an extracorporal HIFU probe, to be adapted to clinical use, to treat breast cancer in a completely non-invasive way. Its effectiveness has been tested from ex-vivo tests at the Léon Bérard Cancer Center.
