Canada Procurement & Sourcing ManagerSchlumberger Jan 2015 - Feb 2018Houston, Texas, Us• In the wake of a downturn and subsequent reorganization, I was asked to manage two formerly siloed departments now combined under one. • I became responsible for the strategic leadership and development of the contracting strategy which by year end saw ~98% of Schlumberger Canada's spend secured via contract with over $40MM (USD) earned in cost savings.• I acted as primary interface for operations management representing fourteen (14) separate sub-segments and had the pleasure to work with seven (7) different financial controllers; each with their own unique requirements from a tactical & strategic view.• Successfully introduced & integrated procurement, strategic sourcing & contract management into large acquired companies (i.e., MI Swaco, SMITH International, Pathfinder, LONKAR). This included setting contracts with all acquired suppliers post rationalization. -
