About Luís Braga
Hello there !! 👋Ever since I was a kid I liked to build stuff. Then I discovered programming and nowadays I build software !I'm from Braga, Portugal and I'm a Software Engineer at OLX Group.I entered OLX Group through a trainee program called "OLX Group Academy" and now I'm a Software Engineer.I'm in the Pay&Subscribe team were I work in domains such as invoicing, payments and we also are responsible for finding and implementing new ways of monetising our platforms. Before that I was in university writing my MSc thesis. I wrote it at UN1Qnx, S.A. where my goal was to find a cloud based setup that has the best performance/cost ratio to deploy their tag validation service.Also, I'm working with a group of friends, both Portuguese and American, to develop a business idea to evolve our interpersonal, entrepreneur skills. I'm very passionate about constructing things, so programming has become a passion and more than just a job.
