• Presided a 300 MM USD and 90+ employee company. Oversees the entire organization strategic, financial, technical planning performance and operational execution of the 3 blocks the company manages (Pirineo, San Andres and Tierra Blanca).• Member of the board of Oleorey and Petrolíferos Tierra Blanca, the companies that operate the Tierra Blanca and San Andrés blocks, where MPG has a 50% stake in partnership with Alfa, a main Mexican industrial conglomerate.

•Led the 20+ engineer, technical organization, including Operations and Maintenance works at MPG, in Block Pirineo. •Prepared, designed and presented to PEMEX Conceptual Development Plan for a shale gas discovery well that PEMEX drilled in the Pirineo block for the Eagle Ford play; and an exploration strategy to evaluate the producing potential for other source rocks in the block.

- Led the, 50+ engineer, technical organization, including Subsurface, Drilling, Operations and Maintenance works at MPG, in Block Pirineo and for IHSA in Nejo Block. - Contributed to establish technical strategies to accelerate the exploration and the development of gas resources in the Pirineo and Nejo Blocks.- Led the definition of the locations for 5 drilling rigs (2 in Pirineo and 3 in Nejo) for a 3-year drilling program, well recompletions and the geological study plan.

•Co-responsible for all activities related to Geology, Reservoir, Drilling and Infrastructure works that MPG execute for PEMEX. •Designed the Annual Work Programs (PAT) 2005-08 to comply with contract obligations of a 3,800 KM2 gas Block –Pirineo- awarded to MPG in the 2nd Round of CSM; and for the 1,165 KM2 gas Block -Nejo- awarded to IHSA in the 3rd Round of CSM by PEMEX in México. •Led the Design and contracting of 3D seismic programs to carry out in the blocks. Responsible for contracting the acquisition and processing and reprocessing of seismic works and for contracting Quality Control companies for both phases, acquisition and processing works.

-Member of corporate team responsible for designing and preparing PDVSA’s Corporate Investment Portfolio for Business Plan 2003-2008. - Responsible for leading the preparation of the Business Plans for PDVSA’s investments in Exploration, in the order of MM$ 1700 for the period of 2003-2008; and MM$ 1400 for the period of 2002-2007, applying Modern Portfolio Theory.- Performed Integrated Risk Analysis and provided advice to mitigate identified risks. •Directed the implementation of Portfolio Management for the capital allocation processes in the Exploration Business Unit in PDVSA. •Member of team responsible for selecting the Exploration Probabilistic Economic Evaluation System and a Risk and Portfolio Management System.
