I lead the software team in charge of backend services which provides REST APIs for 1health applications and for integrations with clients and partners.

I participate as a backend developer in innovative and high impact projects. In addition to coding, I am involved in the initial stages of projects such as discovery sessions, requirements analysis, feature generation, architecture proposals and cost estimation. Some technologies being used are Laravel (PHP), PostgreSQL and AWS.

For this, a process of improvement and preparation of the IT team was carried out, which involved hiring people with the aim of having the necessary skills to develop the project. Within the project I carried out definition, prioritization and design tasks in both product (functionalities) and technical aspects (architecture, technologies, tools, etc.). This endeavour involved conversations with internal stakeholders, as well as clients and end-users. Regarding the technical, I participated in the design of an event-driven architecture, based on REST services, which is implemented in the AWS cloud. I reorganized the area and promoted the adoption of best practices and digital tools for the management of internal work and with the rest of the areas (Operations and Commercial). In particular, we implement the use of the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk) for project management, documentation maintenance and to provide internal and external support. I encouraged the collaboration with AWS as a partner to improve our use of AWS services and decrease costs of cloud infrastructure. In this context, I traveled with part of the team to AWS headquarters in Seattle to discuss AWS architecture and services aspects regarding the project of the new IoT data processing system. During this period I also represented the Center in various events, giving lectures and seminars for different audiences on topics such as Technological Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. I collaborated in the development of a pipeline for the genomic analysis of extremophile organisms involved in bioleaching processes. My work included the purchase, assembly and configuration of a cluster of computers using Rocks (Linux distribution).

I developed my project of Engineering degree in Computing which consist of software tools for the analysis of microscopy images.
