• Worked directly under one of the co­founders, in the Research and Development  Department, designing, optimizing and testing Metamaterial antennas for cell  phones and routers.  • Primary duties were to support the design and optimization of Metamaterial Antennas for handsets and laptops using 3D EM simulations and benchtop testing. Designed and fabricated a 15 dB gain S-Band Amplifier. Extensive support work involving fabrication techniques of RF circuits that includes the use of an LPKF machine (FR4 boards) and the soldering of RF components used for antennas and power amplifier evaluation boards. • Lab test measurements made on Power Amplifier circuits using CW and modulated signals.• Transistor Characterization including 1dB Gain Compression, Third Order Intermodulation Products and S-Parameters.• Microstrip Wet-Etching Fabrication (Broadband design in the X-Band): Patch Antenna.
